Description

We are looking for a WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the WordPress platform and will be highly proficient in coding, development, and design.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain WordPress websites
Produce clean and efficient code
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues
Stay up to date on the latest WordPress trends and technologies
Optimize a website’s performance and usability
Create custom plugins, widgets, and themes
Ensure websites are optimized for mobile devices
Write and modify website content
Design and implement website layout
Monitor website analytics and metrics
Work with other teams, such as marketing and design, to ensure website functionality

Requirements:

Proven experience with WordPress development
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
Knowledge of SEO principles
Excellent problem–solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

Education

Strong understanding of Java 8, Microservices, Spring-boot, API Development and AWS
Proficient in Core Java /J2EE technologies & Spring framework Experience in Pair programming

Must Have

Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and guidance

Experience using Docker to package and deploy web applications

Experience with cloud-based web services and database systems (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)

Familiarity with server-side programming (e.g. Node.js, Python)

Experience customizing Content Management Systems

Experience working in an agile environment

Background in user experience and/or design

Involvement in open source projects
